All the good stuff I bought in 2021 and all the reasons why you should try them too!

When it comes to buying stuff for myself I always overthink everything twice. I carefully plan out what to spend my money on, so if I tell you that these are the gems that I obsessed over in 2021 and will continue to love in 2022 you best believe me.

Beauty finds:

  • My number one has to be this amazing brand called Zelens. The best foundations that I ever tried, and even though they are a bit on the pricey side if you're lucky enough you will find them in Tk Maxx or TJ Maxx for the fraction of the price. I love that these foundations are all Serum foundations so I can look after my skin even when I'm wearing makeup. I highly recommend the Youth Glow and the anti-aging Age Control foundations. My skin is quite a mix of oily and dry, but both of these managed to keep it beautifully dewy without looking greasy, and they last through the day too. The coverage is medium but buildable. You don't need much of these to look naturally beautiful and to get that healthy glow.

Check out their skincare products too, you won't be disappointed!

  • Juliette has a gun - Vanilla vibes, such a gorgeous scent! The number of compliments I get every time I wear it! Long-lasting, unisex which is great because I love wearing it with my partner. It has a different tone on his skin, but it still gives away the basic notes. It is quite a strong scent, and I am very sensitive to strong perfumes because they usually give me migraines, but this one is approved by me! Don't forget you don't need much of this as it is an EDP therefore it has a higher perfume oil concentrate. If you ever tried it, I would love to hear your opinion in the comments!

Craft finds:

  • This year I got into crocheting and one of the sites I used to order gorgeous yarn was Lindehobby. Great prices and a huge variety of stock! My favorites are the Drops products not only because they are super affordable, but because they're also great quality. There are many patterns online, if you're interested in the best free pattern sites I found drop me a message below.

  • Cricut machine. As I mentioned before I always overthink it when I want to buy something for myself, so it's not a surprise that it took me over a year to finally decide to get a Cricut. Girl, don't wait to get one, this thing is incredible and the list of things you can do with it is practically endless. There are many sites where you can get free SVG files to cut, and tons of tutorials everywhere. If you live in the UK I would recommend buying it on sale, waiting for the best price, and getting it from Amazon or Hobbycraft. I also found great quality vinyl to go with it for much cheaper than the Cricut products... Pop into The Works if they have a big craft section they will stock self-adhesive and iron-on vinyl too! You'll be amazed by the quality and surprised by the price!

Books:

Little women by Louisa May Alcott. I saw the movie last year around Christmas and decided that I have to read the book too. It's such a moving and beautiful story, if you only read one book this year make it this one, and I highly recommend watching the movie too. Beautifully done, it takes you into this amazing world, but I'd like to warn you to get ready to cry every 15 minutes, as soon as you think you're good and over it, something else happens and here we go again crying our eyes out.
